Redevelopment of an obsolete office building into a lifestyle hotel

Fund II, through its Barcelona based KKH Property Investors (KPI) platform, acquired an obsolete office building in close proximity to the famed Gothic cathedral in Barcelona, one of the city’s most visited tourist sites. A comprehensive redevelopment was undertaken to transform the building into an exciting lifestyle hotel managed by Marriott’s EDITION brand. The hotel was delivered and opened in July 2018, with the closing of the sale subsequently finalised.
