About

We are

Aermont is an independent asset management group focused on real estate and real estate related investment activities. We take a proactive operator-oriented approach, emphasising large complex investments that offer long-term value creation opportunities for the associated assets and businesses.

To date, Aermont has raised a succession of five pan-European investment funds.

The Funds

The funds are mandated to invest in real estate and real estate related opportunities in Europe, under direct asset, corporate and credit situations.

The funds and related vehicles have received equity commitments of around €13 billion in aggregate, made by a group of institutional investors that includes some of the most prominent public and private pension plans, sovereign wealth funds and other institutions from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

The funds’ investments have featured prime assets or projects at top locations in major cities such as London, Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Florence, Milan and Lisbon, as well as leading operating businesses in sectors such as regional and downtown shopping centres, student-related accommodation, multiplex cinemas and film production studios.

Ownership & History

Aermont is an independent self-managed business wholly-owned by the partners, including Léon Bressler (Chairman), Paul Golding (Managing Partner), Nathan Shike, Alison Trewartha, Henning Richter and Samuel Kreber.

Aermont was established in 2007. It was previously associated with Perella Weinberg Partners, becoming formally independent in July 2015. In July 2016, the name was changed to Aermont Capital, though some entities (such as funds raised prior to that time) retained names referencing Perella Weinberg or PW.
